Professional Epi-Flourescent microscope. Most common type for flourescent microscopy. A 100W HBO mercury vapor light source is Easily focused and centered with lamp viewer. This illumination comes out of the objective parallel to the sample which results in a sharp, high contrast image. Powered by external power supply featuring an electronic timer to log lamp use, includes a 3-position (2 filter positions and 1 off position), sliding filter cube assembly. Comes standard with 2 broad band filter sets (blue-green and green-red), also custom, narrow band filter sets available.
